Dennis Idowu, MD, FACOG

Co-Founder

Dr. Idowu began his medical career as a pre-medical student at the University of Notre Dame. Upon completion of his baccalaureate, Dr. Idowu pursued a medical degree at the Ohio State University. Traveling back to his home state, Dr. Idowu subsequently completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Kaiser Permanente Oakland Medical Center in Oakland, California. Since completing his training, Dr. Idowu has worked as an Ob/Gyn provider in both large and community hospital settings where he has been heavily involved in both resident and medical student training. Dr. Idowu has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications on a variety of gynecologic and obstetric topics and has presented his research at national and regional conferences.

Dr. Idowu’s decision to pursue a career in Obstetrics and Gynecology was an easy one. He enjoys the continuity of care and the close relationships developed with his patients as well as their families. Women’s health care represents a particularly unique opportunity to affect healthcare communities. In addressing the issues affecting our mothers, sisters, and daughters he believes we form a bond of trust with the community at large through a common narrative. This human element is essential to maintain as we navigate through an ever changing healthcare system.

When Dr. Idowu’s not working he enjoys watching college football, exercising, traveling, exploring new places, cooking, and spending time with his wife, children, and their animals.

Dr. Idowu works hard at listening to his patients so that he can truly hear their needs and provide an understanding and comfortable environment. He looks forward to meeting you and providing you and your family with the best care possible.
